VAMO V2 Variable Voltage, Variable Power - Advanced Personal Vaporizer

The VAMO APV (Advanced Personal Vaporizer) is an affordable but full-featured electronic cigarette. It has shown to be very reliable and has similar features to the newest version of the high-end ZMax. In addition to this being a powerful and incredibly versatile e-cigarette, it looks great and is available in either a stainless, gun metal black chrome or a more traditional chrome.

When you use the VAMO you can choose to either vary the voltage setting (from 3 to 6 volts in .1 volt increments) or the power (from 3 to 15 watts in .5 watt increments).

With other APVs you generally have to make a decision to purchase either a full size or a mini size. A full size e-cig is great when you are at home relaxing, as you can use large batteries and vape for most of the day on a single charge. On the other hand, when you are out and about and want convenience and maybe a bit of stealth, the mini mode is what you want. I have had many customers purchase both the full size and the mini Vari-Tubes.

With the VAMO, you get the best of both worlds. Use either a single 18650 or two 18350 cells with the extender tube and you have a full size device. Take off the extender tube, use just one 18350 cell and now you are in mini mode. It doesn't get any more convenient or flexible than this.

Note: Earlier releases of the VAMO had an issue where certain 18650 cells did not fit correctly as the spring was not quite long enough. The VAMOs on this site have the most current, longer and wider, gold colored springs that address both the fit issue as well as reported over heating issue.

We have become aware that some users have damaged the center post and / or the atomizer threads on their device by screwing in certain cartomizers or tank devices that have an elongated thread. The Vivi Nova (manufacturer unknown) has been specifically identified.

Please be gentle when screwing down any atomizing device on your APV. Do not over-tighten or force them on. As an added precaution, we recommend using a 510 to 510 extension or a 510 to EGO adapter. This will help protect the threads and center post. It is much cheaper to replace an adapter than an APV.

Be advised that we can not provide any warranty because of thread or center post damage.

Turn on / Turn off	Press the Power (large) button 5 times within 2 seconds.
Voltage adjust	Tap the + or - buttons to raise or lower output voltage (in .1 volt increments). The voltage level resets itself to 3 volts when the battery is removed
Power adjust	Tap the + or - buttons to raise or lower output wattage (in .5 watt increments). The power level resets itself to 3 watts when the battery is removed
Resistance check	With an atomizer or cartomizer installed on unit, press and hold the + button for 2 seconds. Atomizer resistance is displayed in ohms.
Battery voltage check	Press and hold the - button for 2 secs to check actual battery voltage. The display will flash when the battery (or batteries) needs replacing/recharging (approx 3.4v for one cell, 6.8v for two cells)
Voltage / Power Mode	The VAMO can operate either in Voltage Mode or Power Mode. We find that Power Mode is generally easier for users that switch between different cartomizers and atomizers at different resistances as the VAMO will adjust for that resistance and deliver consistent power to the device. To set the mode, hold the + and the - buttons down simultaneously for about 2 seconds. The display will either say 3.0 v (for voltage) or 3.0 w (for power). If the setting that is displayed, is not the one you want, then hold the two buttons down again and the mode will be changed. You can now use the + and - buttons to adjust the voltage or the power as described above. The VAMO can determine output voltage and wattage as an Average or as RMS (Root Mean Square). RMS is the actual and true output and is the one to use. Press and hold the + button for 10 secs. If "no2" is shown then the output is already set to RMS, no further action is required. If no1 is shown, release the button and press again for 10 secs until the display shows no2. This setting should not change after a new battery is inserted but if the vape feels hotter than expected you should re-check this setting.

Battery Safety Information

Be sure to use only cells that are recommended by the manufacturer or vendor where you purchased your APV (electronic cigarette). Failure to use proper procedures with lithium ion cells can lead to serious accidents, quite possibly a fire or an explosion. Do not over charge or over discharge cells.
